A Happy Hour head's up

We tend to think there’s no such thing as a bad Happy Hour. Generally, the start of Happy Hour means that the workday is over, or nearing the end depending how late you’re usually in the office, and it’s time to head to your favorite spot for good, cheap drinks and tasty food to go along with it.  While there's no shortage of places to enjoy HH in Philly and we can't think of a bad one, not all are created equal. Enter: Fitler Dining Room's new HH.

Now, seven days a week, Chef Rob Marzinsky is satiating the clocked-out masses with his JFC sandwich - Japanese fried chicken on a sesame semolina roll with cabbage slaw and bread-and-butter pickles. He's also got oysters, cheeses, local veggies with a “dip of the day” and popcorn dusted with blue cheese. All of that, along with his seasonal sangria, by the glass and pitcher, and Tiger Lager bottles, are ready for you at 5 p.m. daily.

Happy Hour: $3 to $10 ($23 sangria pitcher); 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. daily.
